The purpose of the Association is to provide volunteer members of Palmer Lake Fire Department with the financial means to acquire equipment for firefighter wellness and opportunities for education. The Association also provides the primary financing of the Palmer Lake Star and any necessary supplies for Chili Supper and Pancake Breakfast. More information on the Star can be found here. The Association obtains its funds through fundraisers, wildland fire deployments, and donations.
The Association Board oversees all meetings, manages the Association finances, keeps records of all meetings, and conducts votes for distribution of funds. Board members are chosen by an anonymous, majority vote of the Association members. Currently, the Association Board is made up of the following individuals:

In order to be a member of the Palmer Lake Fire Association, you must hold at least probationary firefighter status at Palmer Lake Fire Department. At this point, you will be considered a voting Association member.
